Designer
Yuvi Alpert and Danna Kobo, designers of the fine jewelry line Ruby Kobo, wanted to create a second collection that was more casual but still retained the quality of their high-end designs. Shashi jewelry was born. Alpert and Kobo were inspired by temple bracelets handed out during Hindu prayer ceremonies, religious strings embedded with glittering stones that symbolize friendship, love, and good luck. As a result, each Shashi design evokes emotion and sentimentality.

Not bad for the price!
Bought many Shashi bracelets in the past and they're all cute and easy to adjust. I wear them with my watch along with other bracelets for a cute arm party! Although the gold does wear off with time. But for the price your paying not that big of a deal. Will buy plenty more!

pretty but...
This bracelet is adorable, I've had my eye on it for quite some time. I'm bummed since I think I'll be returning it due to it's size... it's actually kind of small! I have to wiggle my hand through it with the adjustment at its widest. Seems inconvenient for a $20 piece of string essentially... if you have petite hands I would recommend it though! Super cute

Really cute, just ok quality...
These are super cute, but come undone easily! I ordered a turquoise and brown one so I could layer them. Only problem is after wearing the brown one only a few times, the knot on the end came apart and the two little gold nuggets fell off :( I still wear it though!

Disappointed
I am quite disappointed when I received the item. I got one in red and 1 in turqoise. The color is much duller than the pictures and not so good quality. The knot in the turqoise one alreay came apart when I received it (not even worn yet). Shopbop should have a quality check before shipping out the product. I would have returned them if I am not located in HK (the return shipping is more expensive than the product itself).
