not worth $250
i tried these pants on the other day and as much as i love the color, i was a bit disappointed. these remind me of a coated version of the mid-rise twill (811). i thought they would be thicker and a more substantial weight...especially for that price! i also found them to run just a tad bit larger. i am ALWAYS 26 in jbrand but in these, i needed a 25. the 26 was just too wrinkly and i felt like i had elephant skin. the 25 was a better fit, the way leather-like pants should fit...skin tight. they are also very long and i doubt that having them hemmed with the original hem reattached would look good. overall, i feel like the only thing these pants have going for them is the color. it is a very rich clay/henna type of color. beautiful for fall. but i just can't pay $250 if i only love the color.

a little lighter than expected.....
These pants are a little lighter than pictured. More of a 'clay' then 'chocolate' brown. But they still look great. The sizing is good, I think they just feel a little tighter to get on because of the material. I stuck to my usual size and it is perfect. I wouldn't go bigger because I feel like these could stretch out a bit... also I wouldn't want this type of pant to be baggy.

Great wardrobe piece
I really love these jeans. I originally ordered them in my normal j brand size, which is 24 and they were so tight I could barely pull them on, or get them off. So I size up to a 25 and they fit perfectly. They are a little stiff, but that would not keep me from wearing them. I am 5'7 and they are long, but all I do is tuck the bottoms under and I like this better than hemming because I can adjust the length for different shoes. I do this with all my j brand skinnies.

Not Impressed
I love J Brand and will always continue to purchase their products, but this item just wasn't for me. I found them to be way too stiff to enjoy wearing. I chose to return them and sprung for a genuine leather pair that is much softer and more comfortable. As for sizing, I ordered my normal J Brand size (denim) and feel they run true to size, but long.

I love these jeans! Looks like leather but half the price! The stretch makes them really comfy too. I was a bit surprised to see the colour wasn't quite what is pictured, they're lighter in person but I'm fine with that. Also, there's no front pockets in case that's an issue for anyone. Definitely recommend. I get tons of compliments.

Loved the idea of a waxed jean--i own a waxed pair by Notify and it is a staple in my closet. This pair was soooo tight to pull on, despite my getting it in my usual size--but, ironically, once on, it was a little baggy in the knee. Also a note, since i haven't seen this feature written up yet in the reviews of this item, the zipper is TINY. If the fit were to size, this may not have been an issue, but given that these jeans were tight, the tiny zipper opening made this really hard to pull on. Too bad because i was loving these on the model on the site--i also love j brand but this one is not for me.
P.S. The color, too, was lighter than it looked on my monitor.

Unless you are pretty tall, you will need to hem these (I am 5'6") but they are great! I will get a lot if use out of them.

Every timeI wear these people think they are leather. A bit stuff because of the coating, but overall comfortable. They fit like my other J Brands and were true to size. I did not size up or down. Overall great change up from a traditional jean and will be a great addition to my winter wardrobe.

My New Go To
Fits just like your fave pair of J Brand. The colour is even better in person, really rich. The ankle is not too skinny so they look like real pants (not jeggings).

Nice pants! Definitely glad I sized up though. Am always wearing a size 27 in Jbrand, but the 28 I ordered are still very tight (not stretchy at all). Great color, nice leather look, but living in a warm climate, not as hot as leather.
