Great booties!!
I purchased these in the taupe colour (from another site before I noticed Shopbop sold them!) and I love them!! I agree that these are hard to get on at first HOWEVER they stretch after some wear - I now slip them on with ease (sometimes little harder to get on if it is a warmer day and I'm a little sweaty)... As for sizing I normally wear an 8 in Australia or European 38 - I went by the sizing chart on the Steve Madden website to work out my size so I purchased a size 7.5 in this bootie. They fit snug but with wear they have stretched out a little and they are perfect - very comfortable!!! I would therefore recommend looking at the sizing chart on the Steve Madden website to help you figure out your size.

Sweet but...
I wanted these boots for so long but I was hesitant to purchase them because of some reviews that stated how difficult they are to get on if you have a high arch and/or a bit of a wide foot. Being as I'm "blessed" with both, I couldn't quite get on board. I managed to track them down at a local store and try them on and I'm glad I did. They're not quite as cute in person. They're still a fun little bootie but to me, they really popped online and I wasn't in love with them in person. They were also (as I had feared) incredibly difficult to get on. Since I was in actual store (with people around) I couldn't really give it the old college try but I don't know that it would have helped. Given the cost, I decided to pass and get the Sam Edelman Louie instead and I'm much more satisfied with my purchase.

They look great and I was hoping would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe. I have a standard size 7 to 7.5 foot but there was no way my feet were getting into these. not even close. I have no idea how one is supposed to get one's heel into these boots! such a shame.

Cuter online than in person
I ordered these boots in the Taupe and in a size 7. In my opinion, even though the price is already considerably low, they are not worth spending that much money on. It was a bit of a struggle getting my foot into them, but once I got the shoes on they fit my feet comfortably. I sent them back because my mom said they looked like elf shoes...not the look I'm going for...Also they are a bit low cut on the front of the ankle, they didn't look as good with skinny jeans as I thought they would.

Suede Bootie
I really love these congac booties which I got them to wear with dresses. They are true to size however it is a bit of a struggle to get them on. I did read the other reviews but I took my chances got my usual size 8.5.

I'm not sure why so many people had trouble getting these on - I have a wider foot, and was able to get my foot in with minimal wiggling. I would NOT recommend sizing up - I ordered a half size larger, because a) they didn't have my size in stock and b) so many people said they run small. With an insole, or thicker socks, they still fit, but I definitely would have been best with my regular size.

I have these in the taupe, I ordered from another site. I also tried the cognac which was beautiful, but the taupe worked better with my wardrobe. I did not have any trouble getting them on, but I always wear some kind of liner with my boots, perhaps those who complained tried them with bare feet? I just grab the sides and pull. I do have a fairly high instep as well. I ordered an 8.5, my usual size, and it fit comfortably. I may have been able to go down to an 8 but I don't like tight shoes, so I decided to stick with the 8.5. There is not a whole lot of padding in the shoe so I may add an insole, but since it is a fairly low heel they are still fairly comfortable even when I'm on my feet for a few hours. If they had more padding they would have gotten 5 stars. My foot is slightly wide and these worked well for me.

So comfy and perfect heel size when you dont want to look dressed up but still want to feel sexy. Low cut front of the boot makes your legs look longer compared to other styles.

Not for me...
This is a great bootie and an amazing knock off. I love the look/shape and especially the price because I was looking to replace a similar much more expensive pair that had seen better days. Sadly, I literally could not get the left boot on because they're insanely hard to get on! You need a shoe horn. If you have a slightly wider foot then this shoe is not for you... If you have a narrow foot then it may work ;)
