Cuffed, pinstriped alice + olivia shorts with a high-waisted silhouette and uptown sophistication. Slant pockets sit at the hips and welt pockets are placed at the back. Hook-and-eye closure and zip fly.

Fabric: Lightweight suiting.

Dry clean.
Made in the USA.

Great Short Slacks
I would describe these as short slacks. They fit as pictured - like long work slacks that have been cut and cuffed into a pair of shorts. If I worked in an environment were conservative shorts were appropriate, I would consider keeping them, but I don't. I wanted black shorts for casual and going out wear and these don't feel like "dancehall" shorts. The order was a mistake on my part, though I will likely re-order once they are marked down. Buying retail hurts my heart (and pocket). The 0 fit as all alice + olivia bottoms fit - snug, not tight, in the waist with enough room for my hips not to ruin the lines created by the pockets. I am 5'6", approx. 110lbs, a tad hippy.
