Designer

In 2007, style makers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen collaborated to create Elizabeth and James. This line merges downtown cool with uptown class, and mixes pieces that possess soft, feminine detail with others offering a more tailored, masculine edge. Impeccable construction and vintage inspiration are hallmarks of their fashion-forward label, which includes newly introduced lines of jewelry and shoes, not to mention clothing that runs the gamut from classic blazers to au courant jumpsuits and rompers.

Great Styling, So-So Quality
These look perfect on--slightly oversized wayfarers are somehow both glamorous and hip to wear with your most dressed down or dressed up outfits. They flatter the face and look current without being too trendy. Basically, I love the styling. What I don't love is two things: (1) No case comes with the glasses. For this price I should get a case with the shades, and at this price I also need a case to make sure my investment is protected. Now I have to go find a case on my own that fits these, and I'm not happy about it. (2) These are made in China. Again, at this price point, that's unacceptable. I bought these at the same time as some People Sunglasses (Super) which are made in Italy, as well as TOMS sunglasses that are also made in Italy. Between the three, these E&J ones were every bit as expensive but definitely felt the cheapest and poorest-made. I don't know how long these will last but because they flatter my face so much, I kept them. I hope this brand improves though.

Super Cute Sunglasses but no case!
I LOVE Elizabeth and James, so I was super excited to get these sunglasses! The glasses themselves are super cute...however, they didn't come with a case?? After calling customer service, I was told that some Elizabeth and James glasses come with a case and some don't, and I had to check the description. Why would I spend $150 for sunglasses that don't come with a case? I'll be returning these.
