Pretty much true to size for me
Generally I wear between a 6.5 and a 7 in shoes. With alice+olivia shoes, I have always worn a 37 (7). I purchased these shoes in 37 and 37.5 and ended up keeping the 37's, my normal size. I couldn't tell much difference between the two sizes length wise, but I did notice that the 37.5s were not as tight. This caused my heal to raise out of the footbed while walking. That being said, I had to stick with the smaller size. Other than that, fantastic shoes.

Beautiful but small
As the other reviews have said, these shoes do tend to run very small. I normally wear a size 8 but heeding the warnings of the previous reviewers, I sized up to an 8.5, and still these were a little too tight. So then I ordered them in a size 9 and they are much more comfortable yet slightly too big in the ankle. I ending up keeping the 9 because I'm planning to wear these to my sweet 16 and where I have to be standing up for most of the night so I went for comfort. Overall these shoes are comfortable, at least they are the most comfortable stilettos I've ever worn. Be forewarned though, I noticed a significant difference in the heel height of the 8.5 and the 9, so if you decide to size up, the heel may be much higher and the platform steeper than you might think. These shoes are beautiful, shiny, and dainty; the perfect sandal when you don't want to look like you are really wearing anything at all! I can't wait to wear them at my party!

Sizing a little funny
These shoes are gorgeous. They are much shinier and pretty in person than online. They seem good quality although I have yet to wear them outside of the house. Based on another review I read I ordered a size up. I am usually a 7.5 and went with an 8. I am glad I did because the base of the shoe fits perfectly however, the strap is a little big. I have really small ankles and will need to have another notch put on the ankle strap to accommodate. Also, I need the strap situated as high up as the base of my calf in order for it not to buckle on the sides.

Size up a at LEAST a full size
The quality of these shoes is great. They are well made, with a slightly padded footbed, but I am on my second return because I can't get the sizing right! They are the farthest thing from TTS. I normally wear a 7.5 - 8 but I am a 9 (39) in these sandals. I have never been a 9 in any shoe that I own, designer or not. Now, with that said, they're truly stunning sandals in person that are perfect for a night out. I have not worn them out since I have returned them, so I cannot attest to their comfort level for periods of long wear. Alice & Olivia characteristically runs small in their clothing and shoes, but I sized up an entire size and a half for these. The sizing guide for them says they are "True European Sizing" but I have to disagree. They are worth the price if you can get your size right because they are well made, are a pretty silver, and elongate your legs.
