Sizing: True to Size / As Expected

Nice fabric, poorly constructed
I purchased this skirt for work as it is exactly what I wanted - it's long even in 10cm heels, and quite slinky (I'm 5 foot 5) and I bought a M. I haven't worn it but have tried it on - already one seam has opened up or it was already open so it will need to be repaired. At the top the front seam is quite crooked so it sags a little. When I get the dressmaker to fix the opening I'll get her to straighten the seam to sit flat. The quality of the construction is poor - luckily I bought it on sale - unluckily I can't return it. Although the skirt looks narrow and straight don't go up a size - it's actually quite roomy.
