Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Perse next worked on creating the perfect T-shirt, and today is known for an array of luxe jersey essentials including dresses, tanks, and pants with a nod to the casual Southern California lifestyle.

Cool casual skirt
I thought I would have to wait to wear this skirt given the light material, but I am wearing it today - such a warm spring! This skirt will go with lots of different tops to create many looks - a great basic. I normally wear a 2 in James Perse and that is what worked for me here - I am typically a 6 or a small in skirts, but I am tall - 5'9" with narrow hips. The color is a bit more grey than it appeared in the picture, but I still like it.

Adorable!
I love this skirt! I can't wait to wear it when the weather warms up. The piping provides a slimming effect and it flares a bit at the bottom for a very flattering effect.
The color goes great with white, black and muted colored shirts, but then I don't do really bright colors. Love, Love It!!
