These jeans are my new favorites! They fit perfectly. The material is soft with a little stretch. And I didn't need to have them hemmed when I wore them with a pair of my wedges (I have a 30 inch inseam - short legs!).

Ok, these are my second pair of AG jeans and I have come to the conclusion that this designer is just not well-suited to my body type, which is short (5'2") and pear-shaped. I had the same experience as the last reviewer, ordered my usual size 31, no fit issues wth any of my usual fave jean brands (J Brand, Joes) but these were HORRIBLY tight around the hips, thighs and bum and strangely loose everywhere else. What's weirder is that right now I'm between sizes and will occasionally find myself in size 30, so, this was just odd! Needless to say, these went back. I have another pair by this designer, the boyfriend jeans, and I should have returned those as well--they are terribly unflattering and I keep trying to like them but just don't. Lesson learned!

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I found these jeans to fit more like a skinny jean. The legs were not particularly loose in the thighs which was what I was looking for - a more relaxed fit wide leg jean. If you are looking for a slimmer fit they would be great. For reference, I am 5'4" and 108 lbs and 27 was still too tight (and I can usually wear a 25 or 26).

These are comfortable and generally awesome! I agree with all the other reviewers, and have never been displeased with AG. I wish I had sized down, but they are meant to be loose so its no biggie.

After receiving these jeans and getting to try them on I felt compelled to review them because I think they are so exceptional! As someone with a smaller waist and larger hips/butt/thighs I am always looking for wide leg styles that will fit me in both places (usually I get huge gaps in the waist) I purchased these in a 30 which is usually the smallest size I can go to fit my butt/thighs - they slide on like butter - the denim is soft and supple and stretchy and worth every penny - I probably could have fit into a 29 in these, but don't really want wide legs that are too tight in the thighs - to answer another reviewers question, I think you could go down a size if you have a more proportionate figure. Anyways love, love, love these jeans - and how fast and free shopbop's shipping is - even to Canada!!!

180 degrees from all of the skinny jeans out there but I love them, they are so comfortable and they are fantastic if you love the boho style. They are a little loose but it might just be I'm just too use to the skinny flare jeans of late.

I love, love, love these jeans. I'm 5'5" and the size 27 are perfection w/chunky heels(clogs for me), a good belt, long sleeve white t and either tight fitting leather jacket or a big cozy wrap sweater. Every time these jeans make a public appearence they receive a complement. The fabric is super soft w/just enough strech so I am always comfortable.

I am size 25 should i go a size smaller anyone?!!!???

I am small with a very curvy bottom & larger thighs. Securing a great fit in jeans is a challenge. You know the story: to achieve a good fit in the waist, the thighs and bottom are too snug. If the bottom and thighs fit, then the waist is huge. My absolute peeve are the jeans that are characterized as wide but fit like sausage casings in the thighs with a humungous bell below the knee. None of that is true with these jeans. They are in my opinion - perfection. The waist and bottom are contoured to fit close to the body with a full and easy leg. The wide palazzo leg accommodates rounder thighs, yet the jeans hug the bottom hug waist nicely with zero gapping. The leg is wide but not ridiculously so. They simply have a very relaxed, sophisticated and cool vibe. The fabrication is incredibly soft and luscious in a high quality lighter weight denim with just enough structure to minimize flaws and that will be comfy in warm weather. These may be my favorite jeans ever!
