A shorter version of the original Hunter wellies, these pull-on rubber boots feature a buckled-strap detail and logo tab at the top. Woven nylon lining and cushioned footbed. Lug sole.

Other reviews spot on with sizing
I am a size 38 and followed other reviewers advice and ordered a size 7 (I'd usually order an AU8 being an EU38) - they are perfect! The box actually says European size 38 and size 7 so they obviously just have funny sizing.
Easy to get on and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Just what I wanted
Got these for my daughter. They do run large, so if you are ordering be aware of this. My daughter is 5", so the short rain boots were a much better proportion for her than the tall. Boots are very sturdy- I have no doubt they will last a long time. And they are actually very comfortable to wear.

Hunter Boots Short
I've been wanting a pair of Hunter rain boots for a long time & finally ordered these. I'm pleased with the quality and style! I took the advice of previous reviews - I'm a size 6.5 but ordered the size 6 - the fit is fine as long as I wear a pair of reasonably thick socks. The boots are perfect with skinny jeans and look cute with shorts too. I can't wait to order the taller pair ;-)

Usually I am 38 size (US 8, UK 5) but regarding the size the description I took US 7 and they fit just well. SO read attentively the item description.
Didn't wear them yet but they seem to be very comfy.
I give only 4 stars 'cos I don't really like how they look in comparison with my another M Jacobs rainboots.

Great boots!
I am an AUS size 8, Euro 38 and I bought these in a US 7. They fit perfectly. I was a little worried on the first try as the leg part isn't huge so it was easier with a sock on to slip into them. You want them snug otherwise there will be a lot of sliding around in there. Great all purpose boots, really comfortable soft sole, and the detail of the buckle on the side is great to make them look less 'gumboot' like for wear in the city. V happy!

Well, there you go...I read through all the comments on these gum boots and most of them were recommending to go down a size as they run a bit big.
Afraid to have the opposite problem of a 'too big' boot and thinking I could add a sock or two (worst case) I ordered a size 10, (I'm a Eur size 40) puh! they were gigantic..I sent them back which was fairly easy and then re-ordered a size 9 and it was PERFECT. I have been wearing them for beach walks and they are not heavy or clumsy, in fact they feel easy and light on the sand and the biggest bonus, I can get a bit wet:-)and still look stylish...wouldn't mind wearing these on a random walk down to the mall either since they have a short shaft. Would love another pair if they came in cream or pasty white or even something light limy...A Good Buy!

I usually take a EUR 37 so ordered the US size 7, which says on the box that it is a 38 so I was worried they would be too big but they are perfect.
Very comfy, love the short boot as they aren't too heavy to wear with a normal outfit!

Love my short hunter boots!!It looks heavy but when i tried it on it's actually really light.I can see myself wearing this for years and years. Thinking of buying the tall one!

Basic rain boots
These hunter boots are very basic and serves the purpose of rain boots very well. But they're not exactly stylish boots, quite rough looking really.
I'm usually a size 38/8 but had to size down for these, got them in 7 ( knew from previous experience of purchasing the long boots). So size down if you are between sizes.
Might be a bit difficult to get into them but trust me, you don't want too much room in them otherwise they start 'squawking' when you walk.
Between the long boots and these, i liked these better in terms of comfort and walkability.
