I agonized for about 30 minutes over what to do with this dress! I tried on every slip, every pair of nude underwear, and at the end of the day, I realized the $275 was too much to pay for the hastle of actually wearing this in public (without having my pantyline seen). It was virtually impossible to get around the sheerness and clinginess of the fabric tube that the dress is built on. What's worse, it's so thin it will stretch over time, losing its cute, body-conscious shape. The cotton does feel 'cheap,' as another reviewer wrote. I was surprised that Alice + Olivia would use this super thin material in a formal dress. That said, the draping is beautiful, and so is the color. I decided to return this dress ON THE GROUNDS that I find another dress from A + O with the same gorgeous pastel color. For that winning quality, it gets 2/5 stars. For sizing purposes: I am 5'9 and about 130-5 lbs, and felt like a S was the right pick

I love the dress style and color but the material was really thin, felt cheap and was see through.

This dress is a bit darker then in the picture which I was happy about. It looks less white in person. The under part of the dress is stretch material so sizing you don't have to be too concerned with. Looks great on!
