Description
Marchesa renders an exquisite cocktail dress from laser-cut satin lace for a unique pop of drama. Scalloped folds form a sculptural puff at one shoulder, and the rest of the silhouette falls smoothly over the figure in a beautifully tailored sheath profile. Small side slits afford graceful movement at the hem, and an optional lacquered snakeskin belt lends slim definition to the waist. Hidden side zip. Lined.

Designer
Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig met early on at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Georgina began her career as a costume designer while Karen focused on print and embroidery design. When they created Marchesa in 2004, they were already well-versed in the artistry of couture. Named for eccentric socialite Marchesa Luisa Casati, Marchesa eveningwear is inspired by vintage and Asian influences and is an awards-season celebrity favorite.
