Love this shirt & true to size, though could be a little longer. Just covers the band of my boyfriend jeans, and the cut does come up very close to my under arms. Still lovin it though :)

I am an XS in Madewell sizing and the only other shirt I had purchased previously from Madewell was the "Perfect Chambray". I love the loose fit of the "Perfect Chambray" and had hoped the "Ballard" would be oversized too but found it was more of a classic fit. Still looks great and feels very comfortable. A good staple item in winter. Buy a size up for a fit similar to the "Perfect Chambray", however it wont be as long or quite as loose. As always, Madewell shirts really do 'rock'! It's the little details that count.

Good Quality
I'm always impressed by the quality of J.Crew (and Madewell's) clothing. The shirt was a bit larger than I expected and didn't cut in at all to show that I do in fact have a waist. Nonetheless, it is very comfy and cute, especially to wear on the weekend.
