Strange fit
I don't know if it's my body or what. Every pair of Free People jeans I've ever tried on don't fit me. I'm 5'8" and 140 lbs and bought the 30. That's my normal size in Current/Elliott, AG, etc. These were bagging in the thighs, butt and knees and tight in the waist. Would have been cute had they fit. Nice ombre.
