Description

Cut from cozy wool twill and lined in warm faux fur, this Marc by Marc Jacobs coat is a forward way to meet cold weather. Faux-fur lines the fold-over collar, which gives way to the double-breasted placket. Shiny metal buttons fasten the front opening and flap pockets, and an optional belt defines the silhouette. Vented back. Lined.

Fabric: Wool twill / faux fur.
Shell: 75% wool/25% nylon.
Faux-fur lining: 100% polyester.
Dry clean.
Imported, Ukraine.

A real Winter coat
This beautiful fully- lined coat was sitting in my cart for what felt like an eternity - I knew I had to have it to get through the next Melbourne Winter but was waiting patiently for a sale of some sort. Lo! - It happened and I snapped up my dream coat and could not be more pleased. The colour is unique but still matches a broad colour palette - it also compliments my own colouring/complexion. I have received so many comments on this coat and have only worn it twice so far. Things I love is that it's made for style and warmth - there was no way I was getting through another Melbourne winter without a fully lined coat to keep me toasty warm. Amen to my latest purchase and thank you Shopbop for only stocking the very best.

SO IN LOVE :) :)
I saw this coat at a local department store and fell in love with it immediately! But decided to buy it here instead as I am a loyal shopbopper :) I was getting so sick of my puffer jackets in the winter so I wanted something thick yet still chic and sophisticated for work, and this fits my needs perfectly. I love the fur lining it's faux but incredibly soft and warm! And the arms are also padded inside so no need to worry about warmth. It's 75% wool, which is generous- a lot of other "wool" coats are more like 25% and they do not keep you warm! I know boxy silhouette is all the rage this season but this coat is classic and will be a great investment if you live in cold climate like me. I am 5'2, about 115 lbs petite, and xs fits me great. The belt definitely helps with defining your waistline because it is not very fitted at the waist. Worth every penny! Thank you MBMJ!
