Designer

New Zealand-born designer Karen Walker celebrates the anti-It-girl: 1930s comic book super-heroines leading double lives, the debauched prom queen who sneaks out after curfew to run with the bad crowd, Ally Sheedy's character in The Breakfast Club. Using the outsider as inspiration, Karen Walker accessories blur the lines between chic and street, luxury and non-luxury, dark and super-cute. Her collection of statement sunglasses and jewelry embodies an alternative blend of not-trying-too-hard cool.

Wanted to love them... and did!!
These glasses are definitely not weird looking for my taste. Karen Walker sunglasses are covetable in Australia and I have had a ridiculous number of compliments on mine since I bought them a couple of months ago. They are solidly made and the vanilla colour is to die for. Am in love...
Sizing: True to Size / As Expected

Wanted to like them
I was looking for an ivory colored pair of sunglasses to replace an old Oliver Peoples pair I've worn for several summers and I had hoped these would work, but alas they did not. I loved the frame material and dark lenses, but the glasses were just too weird looking for my taste and not flattering to my oval face. The odd shape may stand out more in the ivory color than in a darker frame - so if you want to stand out in a odd/funky way, these may be for you.
