Designer
Yuvi Alpert and Danna Kobo, designers of the fine jewelry line Ruby Kobo, wanted to create a second collection that was more casual but still retained the quality of their high-end designs. Shashi jewelry was born. Alpert and Kobo were inspired by temple bracelets handed out during Hindu prayer ceremonies, religious strings embedded with glittering stones that symbolize friendship, love, and good luck. As a result, each Shashi design evokes emotion and sentimentality.

i love shashi!
This is my second Shashi bracelet. I love these because they are simple but so pretty and look good on any wrist. They are especially hot in neon! Going to get another neon one for sure!

Very disappointing
I ordered the neon yellow version and it looked great the first time I wore it, very disappointed after the second time I wore it, as the majority of the surface area of the golden nuggets was tarnished and after the third time I wore it, I won't be wearing it again. It looks cheap and now all that's left is tarnished alloy metal. Cost per wear was 4.89. Very disappointed. Would return but it's too expensive from the UK and I bet Shopbop wouldn't help anyway.

Fun for Summer

Love... with a caveat
Loved the pop of neon color and wore this bracelet for about a week and a half until all of the little gold stones turned an ugly brassish color. I don't normally leave reviews but I thought I'd warn those who were considering this purchase that before wear they might want to coat this with some clear polish!

delicate and sweet
I got this in the pink. It is pretty against the skin and very comfortable to wear. Looks good beside my gold watch. I may have to go back for the green. :)

Fun!
I got the yellow, and it looks great against a tan. I was a little worried the knots at the end will come undone and the beads will fall off, so I knotted again and reinforced with clear nail polish.
