A field of vibrant flowers adds a cheery touch to a pair of silk-crepe shorts with a balloon hem. Metal aglets finish the drawstring closure, and an inset panel of gathered elastic offers a comfortable fit. Slant hip pockets. Lined.

Scott Sternberg is the creative force behind Band of Outsiders, a Los Angeles line of reimagined menswear classics with a serious cult following. In 2010 he launched Girl. by Band of Outsiders, a collection speaking to the feminine side of nostalgia with sophisticated draping and Grecian shapes. Girl is about softness, lightness, and simplicity, with fabrics like washed silk georgette with faint, naive floral prints and patchwork crochet.

20 yr flashback
I bought these and upon arrival, I felt like I was getting dressed in the 90s (not a bad thing). I swear, they are like something I owned in 9th grade. That said, so not worth the high price point and a bit oversized. Just wasn't impressed.
