Designer

lost in translation ..
If I remember right everything model size etc. was in australian sizing when I bought it, so I got a little confused and afraid that I bought an american 8 accidently... after all your reviews I thought the dress should fit on the smaller side but it's quite a bit loose on me and I'm already stuffed like a turkey from lunch today. I checked the label on my dress again, it's a US 4. I thought everything outside the US is true to size... ;). I mean really, US sizes are so huuuge. If I keep it I will have to use a belt to hide the loose waist. Otherwise the dress looks fine and length is perfect.

Not all its cracked up to be
I found the color was a bit too neon to my liking. Its such a classic dress, but a bit too small. I got the flamingo in a size 4, I am 5ft and 95lb. It is well made and finished beautifully, but the colour and the tighter fit made it look cheap. Also the lace is actually 60% cotton, 23% rayon and 17% nylon, not 100% polyester as stated. Only the slip is 100% polyester.

Exquisite!!!
This dress is beyond gorgeous!! It's so well made and looks just as stunning in person as it does in the pictures. I normally wear a 0 or 2 (5'2, 105 lbs.) and thankfully I sized up to a 4 based on what the model was wearing. It fit beautifully. The sleeves hit a tad past my wrist (usually sleeves are always too long on me!). This is my absolute favorite dress and I can't believe it was 70% off!

Amazing!
I ordered this dress last Friday (07/12) and received it just this morning (10/12). I was so impressed with how efficient the express delivery was. The dress is true to size and of amazing quality. The dress comes with an adjustable slip, and even has two hooks for the straps inside the dress, so that the slip straps don't show. Genius! I wanted to buy this dress in Australia, but, they sold out in black in a size 6 everywhere. Also, it was on sale on shopbop. Yay! The dress epitomises elegance and romanticism in so many ways.

Beautiful Lace
Unfortunately this dress is obsenely short on me, I mean it literally just covers my undies! I am 5'5 so not nearly as tall as the model yet it is way shorter on me than her, which is weird. The lace is beautiful but the proportions of the dress also was strange on my body. It was too short in the body so the skirt part came up really high on my ribs. It should be noted I do have a long torso but still I have never had such a fit problem before with a dress.

Lovely Black Lace Dress!
I've been searching for a good quality black lace dress and guess what..I found one!I admit that the dress is pretty expensive but I've got to have one so I bought it in size US2 as im only 5'3 and 97lbs. Everything about this dress is perfect. You won't be disappointed with it.
