Love the dress, bigger than expected
This dress is beautiful on! The material and color are great. I usually wear a 4/6 in dresses and ordered this in a medium since other reviews said it ran small. I am 5'9'/athletic build and the dress had too much room in the back, chest and neck area. Also given Herve may stretch a bit it would be too big. I would definitely size down.

Thick material, not as much stretch
Because of the special metallic coating of the dress, the material is quite a fair bit thicker than the normal Herve Leger dresses and as such, it doesn't give as much as normal. Thus, I've rated it "smaller than expected". I would take your usual size or one size up if you're in between sizes. I'm a 2/4 and I think a S would have been about right. The metallic sheen is not very forgiving and will highlight any bumps or lumps more so than a non-metallic colour, so make sure you have good underwear and no bits you want to hide. It could be a stunning dress on the right body type; sadly, mine isn't it.
