Weird elastic band underneath the fold
This is not very flattering on because there is a piece of elastic underneath the foldover fabric on the hips. the older iterations of this skirt did not have it, and they were much more flattering. I returned it.

Staple Summer/Vacation Piece!
Was excited to order this skirt in a size small and received it today. I love the skirt. I am tall (5'11) and it is a PERFECT length for me - therefore for those that are shorter I would think the skirt might be even too long - however you could fold down the top more to make it shorter. I always look at the model's height and and size and then the clothing's size when ordering via shopbop and find that to be helpful. It's a bit of an awkward dress length for me because of my height but I assumed this before ordering. Will be bringing this on vacations and be wearing it a ton in the summer months - can make it dressy and casual!

Great buy
This maxi skirt was a great buy!!! I bought it to wear on an island vacation, but I know I will be using it every weekend when summer rolls back around! I'm 5'2" and the length was great with wedges. The material was soft and comfy. I wore the skirt with the white muscle tee from T by Alexander Wang and got many compliments throughout the night. Very happy with this purchase!

I am 5'2'', and ordered the XS, it was still extremely long, and the slit in the image is much shorter in person, so it was not as flattering as the pictures. Also there is a think elastic waist band for the fold over, compared to other dresses that lack this feature, this made it very uncomfortable. The color was nice though.

Great basic
Very comfy and versatile, while the slit gives it a subtle sexiness. Looks cute as a skirt as well as a dress. The band is a bit loose around the chest area so I'd recommend sizing down if you're between sizes and planning on wearing it as a dress.

Perfect all-in-one piece
I'm going on vacation and ordered this skirt to take with me - it is perfect. The bra situation will be interesting as waist band isn't super tight, which I like when worn as a skirt, but means it isn't as reliable up top. The slit comes a little high when worn as a dress, but think it is okay for beachwear.... the material is incredibly soft (as we know splendid has perfected that). All in all a fantastic piece. I am 5' 4" and ordered the small and it is perfect.

Cute and simple
I love the skirt and i had my eye on it for a while. However, i'm 5'9" so the skirt does not work as a dress on me. Also, the fold over is shorter than it looks in the photos. The slit tends to open more to the back than the front, just an FYI. I'm still keeping the skirt i think it will be great to throw on all summer long. I bought it in a medium if hopes to have a little more length and I dont think that was the case and its very loose up top if i tried to wear as a dress plus the slit hits and opens right about at my bottom, def not a cute look
