Designer
Loeffler Randall is a collaboration between husband and wife duo Jessie Randall and Brian Murphy. Love 'em!
I just receive them yesterday and am already planning on buying another pair in a different color. I love the look of tall boots but rarely wear them because 1. they're not comfortable, 2. they make my toes sweaty. I don't know how they do it, but these are feather-weight and so soft. I normally wear size 7- 7.5 and got 7.5 for my wide feet and bunions, and they still feel a little tight in the shoe box. Chestnut is a nice color to go with any dressy or casual outfit, not too dark or reddish, I'd say milk chocolaty brown color.

The Perfect Boot
As soon as I opened the beautiful packaging I could smell the quality of the leather and on further inspection their softness is gorgeous! I have been searching for the perfect boots for some time, but I have never been able to find a style that matches all my wishes - this is the perfect boot! Although pricey, I attest they are definitely worthy of a $700 boot! They are classic, well-made quality, flattering, and very versatile - a wardrobe staple investment! I am always a 38/7.5 in shoes, so this is what I ordered and they fit well! I do agree that they are a narrow fit, but I don't have a wide foot so I was fine. They are super comfy with the perfect wedge heel. I went with the black as a necessity, but would love to collect the other colours!

Classy.
These classic flat boots are perfect for many seasons and so comfortable! They are very gorgeous and the leather is amazing. They fit on the smaller side, because the fit is tight around the calf (if you have not that super-skinny calves like me). I ordered 1/2 size bigger from my usual size.

terrific boots soft leather, comfortable
I never can find shoes or boots that fit properly without hurting my feet. I am unwilling to sacrifice comfort for looks. The leather is very soft, the boot is extremely comfortable. There are no hard areas or parts of the boot that rub. I always wear a size 9 in any shoe but ordered 1 size larger because Loeffler randall runs narrow. Size 10 was fine and allowed an insole to be inserted. THe soleof the shoe is soft calf leather beautiful if it was a purse but impractical to walk on pavement. So I had to spend more money having a more hardy sole placed. I am happy with the boot because it is simple and classic and so comfortable. Yes, it is pricey.

The BEST Boot
I have these in Black and Chestnut. They are not only incredibly comfortable, but also beyond versatile and flattering. I took years to find the perfect boot, and finally decided to drop the money on these bad boys. I've now had them for three years, and they each end up going in my rotation at least twice a week.

I ordered these boots and found that they really weren't as special as all the reviews had said. i didn't think they were particularly flatering and they are pricey. i ended up returning them. I had bought them in the grey color because i thought it would go with everything, but the color fell flat. the fit is tight around the calf but not around the ankle. i ordered my usual size 7.5.

Gorgeous boot -- narrow in the calf
This boot is beautiful, but unfortunately for me, it was too narrow in the calf. It's a pull-on (which I hadn't realized), and I couldn't even get it on to test out whether it was also narrow in the foot, as other reviewers have noted. If you have small calves, you'll adore this boot! Five stars for beauty/style, minus one for fit.

Can't believe I held off on these
This is seriously the perfect black boot to wear. I can't believe I held off buying these for so long. The slight wedge is just perfect; it's not completely flat like a riding boot, yet not a heeled boot which gets annoying to walk around in after long periods of time. The shaft is nice and slim (I always have trouble finding boot shafts that are slim enough for my calves), and the leather is just beautiful. These run just *slightly* narrow.

My favorite boots ever!
These boots are now a classic - and they are really lovely. I've seen cheaper lookalikes out there - but they just do not compare with the original imo. The Matilde boot is super comfortable and fits tts - I do not find it to run narrow - I don't have a wide foot, though.
I have both the chestnut and black pairs - and they are super versatile and I love them with skirts, dresses, tights, and worn with skinny jeans tucked in. I live in them in the fall/winter - but they also work for spring and possibly even summer.
You will absolutely not regret purchasing them, even though they are a bit expensive.
