Description

A supple, buttery leather Alexander Wang backpack is a substantial carry-all that easily merges luxury with utilitarian chic. Zip pockets outfit the sides and front of the exterior, which expands with a wraparound zip gusset. The shoulder straps can be zipped together for single-shoulder wear, and an optional slim shoulder strap turns the bag into a tote. A zip pocket details the main flap, which unsnaps to reveal a buckled, gathered opening and a lined interior with a zip pocket.

Designer

At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.

Best backpack
I have been looking for backpacks for a while, but this one is the best one I have found by far. The leather is super soft without it feeling like it will tear. The color is beautiful and holds all my junk. I love Alexander Wang and this is probably one of my favorites in his line.

Favourite bag ever!
The leather is incredibly soft and the colour is a beautiful warm brown with touch of plum. I think the picture is true. It is really versatile with many different ways of wearing it - I can't decide whether to use as 1-shoulder backpack or as a normal shoulder bag. Looks good as a backpack too but the straps a little long for my personal preference. There are loads of pockets so you can have different items with varying levels of access. I am finding the zips a tiny bit stiff but have only just started using it. It can zipped up to make a smaller version - both large and small look great. It can fit my 13" MacBook Pro easily and still have plenty of room for all my other stuff. The quality of the leather is amazing.
