I bought these in blue chambray and felt that they were slightly smaller than I remember in club monaco sizing. I think these are the perfect cut and totally appropriate for hot weather. They're not too short in length, and they are dressier than wearing denim shorts. Can't wait to wear them again!

Club Monaco is quite expensive here.
I saw it in store, then I went for these shorts here.
I felt it is not that expensive compared to the price here.
But it now feel that I would not have paid that full price as the material doesnt worth the money.

Cute, but...
Just got these in the mail today, in size 6. The shorts look the same as in the photo, hitting above mid-thigh. The color "bourbon" is a fun alternative to tan/khaki shorts. They look good.
However, as someone who recently sized down to a 6, I thought these felt suspiciously loose around the waist. When compared with other skirts or pants I have in size 6 and 8, these definitely ran closer to an 8. I also noticed that the stitching seems a little messy.
So if you're looking for a basic "does the trick" pair of neutral shorts, these work, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for.
