Raving fan
I love high waisted jeans but have never bought jeans on line. I couldn't resist giving these one a go after all the reviews I had read and I was not disappointed. They look great, they're super comfortable and being an hourglass they accentuate my waist but still make my legs look lean.
Off to buy them in indigo!

High risers
Having never been a fan of how high rise jeans look on myself, I am happy to say that I am completely happy with how these jeans make my bod look! I would say that I am about 123 pounds, generally I would wear a size 25 in J Brand jeans but I bought these in a size 24 for a nice snug fit and I am glad that I did. They stretch ever so slightly after fooling around the house for a little bit giving me the perfect amount of wiggle room in the waist while keeping snug through the legs. Great pair of jeans!

Amazing!
Shopbop has amazed me again! I have bought things from Shopbop before and it's come in fantastic time but this time really proved how good the service is... I placed the order on Friday night and the items had arrived by the time I got home from work on Monday night... I couldn't believe it!
I find it really hard to find jeans that fit on both my legs/hips but then are small enough on my waist (I have a small waist but "curvy" hips/thighs). These are perfect - the right amount of stretch to go over my hips but the waistband is nice and fitting. Only complaint would be that they seem to pick up a little bit of fluff from other fabrics - however I can easily get over this because they are so good in every other way. I'm curious to see what they're like in denim now!!!

Unflattering!
I wear J brand 811's all the time, and thought I'd try this one out. I'm 170cm tall, weigh 63kg and bought a size 26.
It is not flattering at all, especially around the waist when I sit down and the crotch area. Ended up returning mine. I do not recommend unless you have a slender figure.

Good jeans
I like these jeans, but not sure I love them. It's a matter of taste. I usually wear a size 27 and ordered these in a 27 and they fit well. A little more snuggly than other skinny jeans I've worn, but not uncomfortably so as they're well cut - just a little tighter than I prefer. I'm very slim through the waist and I have nothing to hide or cover up. That being said I'm not sure how flattering the high rise really is. To me seeing the fly begin so high up looks a little weird, but I've never worn high rise before so it's really a matter of taste. Not sure I'll be tucking blouses in and wearing these with a belt as I anticipated I would be, but they're still a great pair of legging-alternative jeans that will get a lot of wear I'm sure. Shopbop was awesome at delivering my jeans in world record time as usual - I ordered Thurs and got them the following Tues, but that was over the Easter weekend which included 3 public hols! Incredible service :)

Great buy!
Size 26 is my usual size. I was debating between size 26 and 27 for a few weeks as i gained a few lbs. Decided to order 26 and it fit me perfectly. Jeans was super comfortable and made my legs look really long. Love the jet black color. A great addition to any wardrobe!
Advice is not to size up.

True to JBrand's golden standard!
These fit great, very flattering. They have a lot of stretch and feel very comfortable because of it. I have only just been wearing them for a day and so far they have stretched out only a tiny little bit. I could probably go with a smaller than my usual 29, but they are still great.

Super comfortable & flattering
J Brand are my favourite jeans from the first pair I purchased. The Maria Jeans are my first high rise jeans and I was surprised by how flattering and comfortable the rise is. In fact I loved them so much I bought a second pair. The fabric is very comfortable - soft and stretchy and holds everything in. I'm usually a size 29 in J Brand but bought these in a 28 as I liked the tighter hold and they are still very comfortable. These are the best and most flattering skinny jeans I've tried. I think J Brand have the most flattering jeans across or styles and for all body types. The darker washes without excess distressing are also flattering and more polished. Love these jeans and love J Brand.

Hey J Brand, thanks for making the most amazing jeans ever. For a pair of jeans that's described as "legging", I was a bit scared at first, but these are so comfortable, so flattering and so soft and perfect. I don't think I can buy any other jeans than J Brand anymore. I probably could have bought a smaller size, but these will serve me well, I'm sure.
