Absolutely love these jeans. I am 5ft 3" , a 125 lbs , with a bit of a tummy. A size 28 is a perfect fit. Had the low rise same size but my tummy always rolled over the top. These are wonderful. Very flattering to the not so perfect figure. Will be buying more!

My dream pair of jeans
I have always dreamed to have a pair of high waisted black jeans and when I saw this J Brand I really couldn't resist. It was really risky to buy them because I have never bought a pair of jeans online and because its not easy for me to find a pair of jeans that fits me well. There is not a J brand shop near my town, so I decided to buy them!
I sized down, as I red this previously in the comments down here and they are perfect! Could not expect something more :)

Stretched out
When I got these at first, they fit great, I washed them in cold and let them air dry, and I'm wearing them today for the first time. 2 hours in and they're stretched out and do not look or feel that flattering any longer. I'm REALLY let down as I got the same size (30) that I got in my other Maria (dark blue) High Rise jeans and they don't stretch out at all!
Now I'm stuck with $180 jeans that I most likely won't wear that often! I've never had an issue like this with any of my JBrand jeans - and I have 5 pair! I don't know if a smaller size would help the bagging at the knees and the backs of the legs or not? I would definitely recommend sizing down though as a starting point.

been looking for black jeans for a long time, and these are a great fit! i listened to the other reviews about sizing down (thank you!) and when i got these jeans i was a little scared, but they fit great! elastane is a wonderful thing. so definitely get one size down if you are thinking of purchasing!
