Born in Italy, Gabriella Cortese learned embroidery and dressmaking from her grandmother before moving to Paris to study art at age 18. Gorgeous party frock
I am not usually one for shiny sparkly numbers like this, but was invited to a party recently and required something a bit 'stand out' and thought this fitted the bill. Loved the sequins, and overall style, and thought it was quite comfy too. I am 5'11, so a tad taller than the model so ordered the xs like hers and it was perfect. The arms and shoulder weren't too tight, and the length came to just passed my bottom, which was ok - and just long enough, considering I don't wear underwear, so would be perfectly decent for most girls.
I know it's not a cheap dress, but was very well made and well worth it. If you have it, then go for it. You won't regret it.
