Could do with more Exciting Content
I think overall this book is stylish and good. However, I wasn't wow over by the ideas and suggestions. I think it could do with more exciting and updated content.

Low level
The creative level of this book is too easy, I very much had the feeling as if it was a DIY-book with a nice cover but it could have gone much further regarding originality and fashion level. It was a birthday-present for my 12Y old niece but I could see the dissapointment on her face!!

Interesting book - not for me!
I wanted to like this book - I really did!
I always have grand ideas of being crafty and making my own DIYs that look spectacular.
I think the ideas were good in theory but I wasn't 100% about the execution. They are some neat ideas like how to make your own faux fur vest but some other ideas were a little silly like the necklace made with stockings and rubber balls.
Though at the price there's nothing lost in giving the book a go if you're into your DIY - the projects are simple enough to do and there are some interesting ideas.

Bought this a a Christmas present for my aunt who has always loved doing all kinds of stuff herself, "hand-made". She loves this book, nicely styled and lots of great tips!

GREAT BOOK GETS YOU IN THE DIY MOOD!
When I got this book delivered I couldn't put it down. My mind wandered through the various DIY projects that you can come up with household finds and jaunts down to the local craft store. The projects offered in this book are very on-trend and I can see myself performing many of them for this Christmas presents for my fashionable friends. I love how the steps for each project are very easy to follow with photographs marked up with step-by-step annotations. What a refreshing book, now I'm looking for wholesale bits, found bits, putting my spin on it and soon to be wearing my own creations.

Good starter book
This book, while not full of innovative design ideas, has it's gems. I'd recommend this book to anyone who is curious and new to the "handmade" world at large. If you want to know how to turn your white keds into liquid gold kicks, how to make your own bag out of found objects, or create your own simple belt, this book is for you!

Love it - unique ideas, different to the usual "make-it" books which are everywhere. Ideas are actually doable and wearable.

very creative, its not really a read more like a look book or even a cook book for stylish inventions. :-) i already created my very own gold sneakers and if you have the book you know exactly what im talking about. People stopped me left and right asking me were i got my shoes and couldnt believe when i told them i made them myself, they thought i was a designer.
Also it inspired me to creat my very own distressed pair of jeans (armed witha lil bit of bleach, scissors and sand paper) Also great piece to have in your magazine/fashion book collection rack.
