Too large
The size is much larger than expected. I wear size 27 in regular lovestory jeans, and I also bought size 27 for the maternity love story but it was like size 30. I should have bought size 25. I could not return the jeans as I bought it through a po box from USA.
It is a pitty that shopbop stopped delivering directly to Turkey.
But the belly and the elastic bands are very comfortable.

I agree with the other reviewers who said these run big. For reference, I was a 25 in most denim pre-pregnancy, and gained about 10 lbs by 20 weeks. I ordered my usual size, but I was still swimming in them. If I can find these in a 24 anywhere, I will get them, because other than the size issue they are very cute maternity jeans that don't look maternity-ish, and I find the stretchy under-belly side panels sooo much more comfy than the over-belly panels.

LOVE these jeans
I have been looking at purchasing the Love Story jeans for a while, so when I found out I was pregnant I was so glad to see that there was a maternity version available on Shopbop.
As many of the reviews note, these jeans are slightly larger than the usual J Brand sizing so feel comfortable buying your usual pre-pregnancy size. The denim is really nice- very dark and not too thick. The leg length is long- I am 5'8 with quite long legs and they are the perfect length for me if I am wearing heels, so I suspect many people may neeed to take these up.
I absolutely recommend these jeans- they are a great alternative to skinny leg and great for dressing up for lunch or dinner out.

Perfect! Stylish Maternity Jeans
I love my new Lovestory maternity jeans. The fit is perfect, the look is slimming and stylish, and they are very comfortable.
I would recommend these jeans with full confidence.
I ordered my pre-pregnancy size and they fit well. Maybe a little more comfortable that a normal JBrand Lovestory in the same size. Also, the length was very long...but nothing an alteration can't fix.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

WAY too big
Pre-pregnancy, I wore size 24 jeans but usually a 25 in JBrand. I ordered both sizes based on the previous reviews. But even the 24 was REALLY big. I have a pair of JBrand maternity skinnies in a 27 but they look more like straight leg jeans on me. So this cut seems to be much bigger, probably 2 sizes big.
Otherwise, VERY cute. I really wish they fit properly. I could see that had they fit better, you wouldn't be able to tell they are maternity jeans which is always a nice plus!

I LOVE the length of these jeans, they are beautiful on but they are a bit big. I was a 30 / 31 before the pregnancy, I bought these in 31 only 5 months in and they slide down. I should have either bought a 30 or waited until I was farther along, at least know they'll fit in a few more weeks! Really nice how they cover the swollen feet! I'm 6 feet tall and have a lot of difficulty in finding jeans long enough. I could even wear these with heels! (now if my swollen feet will fit them, lol)

true to size; very long; and look nice on- but the denim is much darker than the image leads you to believe. I wanted it to look more washed but these are true dark indigo which I am not thrilled with. Also the front pockets are not real working pockets.

Adorable
Love, love, love these jeans. Super flattering, but VERY long. I had to hem about 4 inches off and I wear them with heels, I am 5'5". Super comfortable, be sure to size down as these do run big. I ordered my pre pregnancy size, 27, and they fit perfectly at 8 months pregnant and having gained 20 pounds.

Best Maternity jean available...
Love, love, love these! I have other brand name maternity jeans from citizens, james jeans, paige, joes, and these are by far the most comfortable and most flattering. The waistband will let you wear them throughout your whole pregnancy and there is not an annoying band to pull up. I have one of the other slim fit styles as well (just as comfortable). You may want to order 2 sizes to see which fits best as they have a lot of stretch, I definitely did not have to go up a size. Great for tall ladies, I'm 6 foot and can wear heels with these. Worth the money!
