these boots are so unique and wonderful. i wanted a western style boot but not a true cowboy boot and the fringe makes these so pretty! i got the taupe, they are a true taupey grey color just as pictured. i was nervous that they would be really huge since other reviewers said they run big and they are afterall a half size too big. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 but the 6 was sold out so i got the 6.5. i just put an insert in and they are good to go (makes them more comfortable anyway!) I would def recommend these!

I bought the tan, nice taupey gray tan color goes with everything. Very comfortable, look cute with bare legs and a dress or with all types of jeans. Tried several pairs looking for a copy of the Isabel Marant Dicker boots that Kate Bosworth wears with everything, and despite the fringe, these do the trick. Price is great for the quality and style. They were priced $228 elsewhere. I wear between 8 and 8.5 and needed the 8.

Best booties ever
This is my second pair of the Louie Sam Edelman booties.. I bought my first pair while on a shopping trip to New York earlier this year and wore them just about everyday for a week while shopping and never ever got sore feet. Brilliant buy. I have worn the first pair so much that I am afraid they will not last me through to our next winter. Very comfortable and the color is perfect and looks stunning with dresses, long or short and jeans.The heel height is also very good, even though I am only 5.3f I find that they are not too flat and give me a bit of a boost.The fit is very good, I have a broad foot and I have bought the second pair 1/2 size smaller as I have found the others have stretched quite a bit. The new ones are a little snug but I am hoping that when I have worn them a few times they will be perfect.

I've had my eye on these for a while, and while every site and store was out my size and colour, I was so happy to see Shopbop got them back, and for a better price!!! These shoes fit true to size, I expect them to stretch slightly as they are suede, but they look great with a thick wool sock so I dont mind. The heel height is perfect for everyday usage as well as going out. Can't wait to get lots of wear out of them!!

My fave boots
I got these in black and I wear them all the time. They are very well made and expensive looking. Extremely comfortable, I can run around in them all day without a problem. Size-wise I'm between an 8.5 and a 9 and the 8.5 fits great with regular thickness socks. I like them best with skinny jeans (to show off the cute fringe detail). I get compliments whenever I wear them. Only gripe, I paid $225 for them back in September and now they are being sold for $160!!! Shopbop, why would you do this to a loyal customer?
