Great basic legging that doubles as a body shaper. What could be better?

Ok, I'm buying into this conversation as well. I hesitated over these for so long because of all the mixed reviews. I'm a size 6 (US) and 5'7" tall, some years back I lost some weight and the skin around my thighs and butt has never been the same. Despite endless squats, lunges etc. etc I still struggle with a bit of a flat butt and a couple of bulges of cellulite that show under everything but jeans. I wanted these leggings to hide that and they did exactly that. My thighs look smooth and my butt is a nice perky, rounder shape. Other reviews have said that they're not opaque, and I agree. They're pretty good, but in direct sunlight I can see the outline of my underwear. Also, I can see the outlines of where the fabric weave changes as it adds more compression in areas. Would I wear these as leggings? Under a tunic yes, under a normal length top - no. I will however be putting these under another pair of leggings and loving the way my legs look.

I just received. I opened the box. It is full of human hairs and dog's as well. Very dirty with lots of dust. The color is grey by dirt. There are holes everywhere. I'm not a dust bin. So disappointing of shopbop's service.

I got these and the splendid leggings. I was hoping these would be a little tighter and give my bum the lift it claims to ( it is a little on the flat side ). NOPE! I would skip these all together! The fabric is rough, and I bought a larger than normal size, because leggings run short on me cuz I am tall and they are HUGE! I would have sent them back if I could have! If you must get them, get a small size than you normally wear, but wear actual spank stockings underneath as well to get the effect it claims to do!

I ordered these because I love Spanx products, but I did not like these leggings at all. The material was very weird for leggings and not comfortable feeling. It was almost like putting on tights, but I did not feel the material was flattering.

Bit more underwear than outwear - has things like the variance of material in the gusset that makes me reticent to wear them as legging leggings - more like they're great if you want to wear oversized tees or sweater dresses with them. They're very warm for winter layering!

I put these on and didn't want to take them off. So comfortable and flattering! That nice snug fit in a legging that is hard to find if you have skinny legs. LOVE! HIghly recommend. Hug in all the right places.

I really like the ways these fit. They're very opaque and can be worn with short tunics; you won't feel like you're showing at all even though they're woven like pantyhose almost. My favourite parts about these leggings are the smooth wide band waste and that they're footless. They sit nice and flush against your skin even if you have some pudge. Since they're footless I can either wear them with sandals in warm weather or with comfy socks and boots in cooler weather.
