Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. very versatile
super soft fabric, cinched sides disguise any awkwardness on my rear. also, i like that i can pair it with a tshirt/tank+cardigan and wear this to the office without feeling overly revealing (if your office is relatively casual attire). i'm 5'2" and it is very long, but i roll down the waistband a few notches. otherwise, the length looks great with heels!

Lovely skirt with nice details: ruching and side split, but find the waistband uncomfortable.
Perhaps this is why it went on sale?!?! This skirt would be perfect with a wider, less constricting band.
Material is nice, and overall a great buy, except for the waistband.

This skirt is amazing comfortable and chic. I wish I could wear one every day. I had to have it shortened a little because I'm very petite, but now it's my new favorite item of clothing!

EXTREMELY FLATTERING+INCREDIBLY CHIC
I'm not usually a fan of maxi skirts or dresses on my 5'0" frame - BUT - this skirt is stunning on me! It's designed to literally lengthen the body and add "height" to the legs. It sits perfectly on the waist, the ruching on the hips hides imperfections, sucks me in and the long sexy slit on the left side allows the skirt to go from day to night. There's a thin stretchy cotton slip under the waist/hip area which adds extra tummy/thigh control. Cotton feels beautiful, no pilling and the color is a solid jet black. Looks great with a plain white T and Pedro Garcia wedges for day and a colored silk T tucked in with B.Atwood heels for night. I highly recommend for spring/summer, even going into fall with booties. LOVE!
