Designer
Alexis Bittar started out selling vintage jewelry and clothing in NYC, and soon after began designing his own jewelry, melding art and adornment by using unique materials like chandelier parts, hand-sculpted Lucite, and turn-of-the-century Italian glass. After designing Burberry's first couture jewelry collection and working with Patricia Fields on jewelry for Sex and the City, interest grew in Alexis Bittar jewelry, which has since been featured in Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and Vogue Italia.

Bought it in GOLD!
The gold is sold out, but I bought this in gold and it is amazing. I wore it underneath a 3.1 Phillip Lim sheer mint blouse and also with a Kimberly Ovitz tank and Kelly Bergin parka. The hinge mechanism is done well and the gold is perfectly finished. It is also lighter than it looks and not heavy at all. It goes on quick and it is easy to take off. I love it!
