At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.

A gorgeous shoe but not great fit.
I should have paid more attention to the review that mentioned how small the ankle strap was. It did not fit around my ankle which is average size! Had to return these beauties!

Excellent!
These are perfection, I've never had so many comments on a new pair of shoes as I did with these! Great heel height and so comfortable to wear- I have had Alexander Wang heels before that were ridiculously uncomfortable but these are great and the weight distribution is very even. True to size. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, but did not quite work
I normally wear a size 38. I ordered both the 38 and 38.5 because I tried on the Liya style shoes and needed to go up half a size. However I found this sizing to be standard. The purple suede is a lovely contrast and will look great with ankle length pants or pencil skirts - a great heel height too. The issue I had is the thin strap is quite small... and I have normal ankles. It buckles up right at my ankle bone, so its uncomfortable as the buckle digs into my skin. I tired it various ways, like under the ankle, but it was too uncomfortable. The black calf leather is reasonably hard, but I imagine it will soften with wear. I really wanted to love these shoes, but sadly they have to go back...
