This plaid cotton top features light pilling and a fold-over collar. Flap bust pockets and welt hip pockets. 7-button closure. Box pleat at back. Raw edges at arm openings. Sleeveless.

Designer

French brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton bring their background in the music industry to their designs. They gained experience in fashion while running the family's business, and in 2002 decided to launch their own line. IRO owes its name to the Japanese word for "color," and the Bitton brothers combine luminous vintage prints with city-chic attitude. Inspired by the trendy, jet-setting crowd, Laurent and Arik have created a sexy, playful, and energetic line of clothing.

it's a dress

i was so excited to get this shirt, but it's a dress, not a shirt. i read the other review and i was also tempted to cut it, but i don't think it will work bc of the pockets. it's too bad bc it's very cute, but i will be returning this dress.

A Dress- Not a Top!

I'm so bummed, I got this in the mail today and I love the sleeveless style, the oversized front pockets, and the unique fabric. The only issue is it's a DRESS on me, not a top. Even on the order slip it's called "lake plaid dress," not "lake plaid top" as indicated here. And I'm not short- I'm 5'6. I really want it to work so I'm even tempted to cut it shorter so it's more like a shirt (the frayed edges could look cool?) but that seems stupid to do for an almost $300 item. I'd also say it runs slightly larger than normal. I'm going to exchange for the next size down before I do anything drastic with the scissors.
