Designer
At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.

Wang at his Finest!
The classic convertible satchel/messenger style is very versatile, and I love how the mix of the suede bag and leather straps give it the signature Wang downtown edge. It fits everything you need and goes easily from day to night. I already own it in black but could not resist the beautiful creamy colour, or the fact that it is is called the 'Kirsten' satchel which happens to be my name!
