Born in Italy, Gabriella Cortese learned embroidery and dressmaking from her grandmother before moving to Paris to study art at age 18. A little bit disappointed
Not as nice in person as it looked on the model (or maybe that is just on me!).
The shape of the dress just seems to be a little more boxy in shape & not quite as fitted around the waist & hips as it looks in the pic. I'm not wearing it as much as I hoped I would.....
