This dress has an oddly long torso... That being said it could be cute if the size worked out. I am a 4 or a 6 depending on the cut and I ordered a 4 in this dress. The "belt" aruond the waist hit below my belly button, and I don't think I have a short torso whatsoever. If the belt had been tight enough it would have been a little blousy, which would have looked nice. Also, the pleats come sewed together at the bottom and it makes it look like a bubble dress. I couldn't get the full look of the dress without cutting the seams and was not able to do that since I was iffy on it anyway.
