Not stretchy like you would think
I have several dresses and tops from Velvet, and they are all in a size small. As with my other Velvet purchases, I ordered a size small in this dress, but I could barely pull this dress over my shoulders! It's really cute, but there is no zipper, and the "elastic" waistband is not very stretchy. The color and fabric are great though.
