I am usually a size 8, and I needed the 10 for this one. If you have curves go up one size. The dress itself is very flattering, sophisticatedly sexy.

Timeless Classic
I scored one of this in camel during sales. It is a great, form-fitting dress that works from 9 to 9. I am 171 cm and the dress reaches slightly below my knee which is perfect. You may choose to hem it if you find it too long but the length provides you with options whether you like the dress long or short.
Overall a very satisfied purchase with shopbop and black halo. The material is of good quality. As for sizing, I go for my usual size as recommended by the other reviewers.

I'm a pretty consistent size 10, and when I received this dress it was VERY tight around the hips, I could have gotten away with it, but not at the comfort level I'd like for a wear-to-work. I ended up exchanging it for a 12 so it would fit my hips, but will have to tailor everything else down. The cut is definitely not for someone pear shaped, but it's a beautiful dress!

I would consinder myself plussize ( or at least borderline :-)) 5 9 and 190. And this dress really shows of my curves. It is figurehugging but not too much . I don't need a bra and the lenght is flattering.
I was sceptical that it would fit me in a 12 - but it does and I am SO SO happy.

such a great classic dress
this is a great classic dress to have in your closet. i bought the 0 and the shoulders were too big for me still (seems like this dress is meant for taller girls and i am 5'0!). i got it altered and now it fits perfectly. i wore it to a wedding last week and got tons of compliments!

Two dresses sewn together....
This dress is beautiful and I planned on buying it in both colors. When I received the size 6 and tried it on the fit was awful. The top of the dress was so large even if I had a bust (which I don't) I wouldn't have been able to fill it. It was as if a larger person would wear the top part of the dress. The bottom part of the dress fit perfect but was too long. So a size 6, tall person with large bust might like this dress.

Super sleek dress but tight chest area
I am truly satisfied with my Size 4 purchase. However, a few weakness I can live with ...the dress has an extreme cut in the armpit area and the upper dress; chest section is quite tight. However, the overall fit is super sleek. Will send to my tailor for some slight alterations to loosen the top section a little. A definite must have in every wardrobe!
