Description

Soft leather adds to the luxe appeal of this Alexander Wang handbag. The front flap closes with a slide-bar clasp, securing the contents in the divided, lined interior. A zip gusset expands the main compartment and an adjustable shoulder strap extends from curved side panels. Dust bag included.

Designer

At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.

LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like a nice bag. I do not have a cache of bags....I like to have one or two on hand and then I turn them over in a year or so and sell them on ebay and start again. I have a requirement for a messenger bag and a structured tote. I have been looking for the perfect messenger bag and I've found it!! I tried going the structured route and had about 4 sent from ShopBop...none worked. Too formal, too much work to open and close, etc. I have a wonderful casual black flap messenger bag from Target that I've used for a long time, but I've always hated that it's a cheapie, but yet it was perfect as far as function and size. Now I've found one just like it with the Iris bag from Alexander Wang. In true Wang fashion it is uber soft. It's a little smaller than what I expected, but that's fine. I want it to look more purse than bookbag. Although the strap is adjustable, it doesn't hang very long, but I can live with it.

Love this bag!
This bag is a perfect 'everyday' bag. I have a young child and like to wear it cross body so I can carry my bub, and it looks great. It's obviously more of a casual look but can be dressed up a bit, the silver hardware is gorgeous and the leather is buttery soft as you would expect, but still feels sturdy enough for day to day use. The pictures don't do it justice, the pockets at the side are subtle but add to the look, and are great for keys and phone.
