I am Australian size 12 in bottoms and being a little curvy didn't want them sprayed on so ordered one size up from my normal slim fit jeans (I got 31). They do give a bit so I need to put in the tumble dryer occasionally, or wash every 2nd wear to bring them back in. If you want super tight, go your normal size in tight jeans, if you prefer more of a slim fit trouser look, go one size up. I love the colour too (aubergene), a bit of colour without OTT colour blocking overload!

Love these colored jeans!
I had purchased this style in another color from another store and had to have another pair! I had a bit of trouble finding them but of course they were on Shopbop! I'm tall and slim but not a skinny girl and had been looking for a fit like this forever. Love the midrise. They don't stretch like some other jeans and they are more comfortable than anyone can imagine. I hope they continue to make this 811 style going forward.

I'm 5'3, 112lbs w/ 37" hips and 24" waist. I thought I'd have to size down as the rise is higher than I normally buy but my usual size 27's worked great! These are truly universally flattering pants, and in the navy I can't imagine what they wouldn't look fabulous with. You won't regret owning a pair. The only downside for us with wee little legs is that we need to get them hemmed. They are too long for me but someone taller obviously won't have that issue.
