A three-time CFDA award winner and Parsons graduate, Derek Lam spent twelve years in the industry before launching his eponymous label in 2003. In 2011, he launched his diffusion line, 10 Crosby Derek Lam. Named after the location of his first store and headquarters, the line is inspired by the cool, downtown New York girls the designer spots in the neighborhood.

couldn't make them work!
These pants are very cute. But I had to go up 2 sizes, and even then I wasn't able to make them work. The fabric is almost like canvas, with absolutely no stretch in it. So even when the size fit me while standing still, they did not allow me to bend or sit because there was no give. Ultimately I had to return them even though I loved the look of them.
