Designer

At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.

Edgy comfort
This dress is gorgeous. It's a bit smaller than I would have expected, but since I sized up to an M (I'm normally an S) it fits great to the point i can wear it to work (I'm also only 5'3") since it's not as short on me as it's on the model. I tried it on with white leather skinny leggings and it looks great. Also, it looks wonderful on its own. The only complaint I have is that on the back on the top part of the arm opening it curls a bit, but it doesn't affect the look. I love the contrast of fabric front-and-back, as well as the trim on the bottom. I also tried it on as a dress with structured blazers in white and black and it works well with both. My favorite look was with a fitted leather jacket and Burberry booties.
