i prefer my leggings tight...these are quite flimsy...and the material is not great quality at all...david lerner leggings are the best...

The fabric quality is different
I've bought 1 - black and the other in grey color. The black one is perfect, but the grey one is of very poor qaulity than discribed in details. It's 60% polyester, 30 % of rayon, 10% of spandex instead of 90% of coton, 10 of spandex as announced on the site. And the grey one has some glossy effect when it's on that spoils the look. Disappointed.

So, first off, I love So Low pants. They are amazing. These however, I found a few issues with. Mainly, the inseam is so short that I don't know how anyone taller than 5'4" could wear these. I'm 5'4.5" and they were barely long enough to wear without some serious stretching. Also, they gave me wicked CT (the dreaded toe) up front. They weren't even that tight, it was just something about the seam. So, be forewarned. I do feel that if you ordered 1 up from your normal size, and you're relatively thin in the hip area, that you'd be just fine though. I vary in weight from 114-120 lbs, am basically 5'5", with a 29" waist, 35.5" hips, and a 35.5" bust. Ordered a large. These are brilliantly soft!

3 years later, I am still wearing them!
The color has definitely faded a little (I have black), but these have been long lasting, tried and true, great basic leggings! I recommend them...

Great Fit and Comfy
Fits well. I got an XS, I am 92lb and have skinny legs and usually find it difficult to find snug fitting tights... these were great. Also the color didn't look washed out like it can in other cotton tights. Waistband wasn't tight on my tummy or give me love handles like other tights. Best of all they were so comfy i didn't want to take them off!

Flattering style
Great leggings for wearing with boots. The ankle strap prevents that bunching around the inner thigh, so the look is smooth and flattering. Nice cotton.

Just the tights I was looking for. Not too loose, not too tight. Perfect amount of firmness and great thickness also. I've worn and washed several times and they've not yet faded. I also like the added detail if the feet "straps"--keeps them snug in my boots instead of bunching around my knees.

I wear these all the time; they're really comfy, pretty flattering, not see through, and they don't fall down. They're exactly what you would expect of basic black leggings for $55.

Poor quality
Cannot agree with other reviewers. For me fabric is rough and itchy, colour is not intense, but faded as if it was washed many times.
