Founded by the unconventional Martin Margiela, Maison Martin Margiela is a pioneering label in deconstructionist design. Working in completely white studios, where even the light fixtures were draped in white fabric, Margiela revolted against conventional fashion with over-long sleeves and exposed seams and linings and famously redesigned unusual objects like wigs and silk scarves into couture garments. yet another super comfy margiela boot
just as with all of my other 6 pairs of maison martin margiela boots/shoes/booties, i am in love with this pair as well. i do have one regret...i tried these on in the store and thought they ran a bit smaller than usual. i am, always, a size 37. as a result, i ordered the 37.5, and found that I could have and probably should have ordered the 37. no worries, though...i put in some extra comfy inserts and ta-da....extra cushion.
what i love about these, is what i love about all of my margiela shoes....no matter how high or sexy the heel might be, i can still easily walk several NYC blocks without feeling any pain. now that is worth the money. even better? NYC sidewalks/subway stairs/sidelwalk grates, can really ruin the leather finish. not to worry with these, they are pre-scuffed and look even better when "worn". the sole of the shoe gives it an interesting edge as well.

AMAZINGGGGGGG!!
These boots are truly awesome!!!
I love how unique the heel is and the boot has the perfect amount of distressing. The fact that you can wear these anytime and not worry about them getting scuffed or scratched because it'll just add to the look.
They run very true to size and are extremely comfortable for a 4 inch heel.
I bought the black because I know it'll go with everything and I can dress it up or down.
Highly recommend!!
