Beautiful casual dress
Great value as its on sale but I am too large for this dress ...disappointed so I had to return :(. M was too tight for me

Not flattering
Returned it. The ruching in the front was not flattering at all. I usually love Velvet dresses, but this one didn't work. Also, the color is very bright, brighter than pictured.

Nice dress but fit odd.
Loved the styling and color of this dress, but purchased in a size small and it just didn't fit correctly. I don't mind altering clothing but couldn't imagine how I could get the bust (too big) and hips to fit right and I didn't think an XS would work. In the past Velvet has fit me well in small but maybe they are revamping their sizing (35-27-34).

Very soft and love the color.
Dress is cute, a bit more casual then I thought, with not alot of shape but material is super soft. Will be nice for drinks on the deck! Fits a bit on the big side.

Slightly different than expected.
Just for reference I am 5'6, 125 lbs 34-28-34 and ordered a size small. The material of this dress makes it extremely comfortable and flexible. I was hoping I'd be able to wear it in the office during my 9 hour work days (day goes by much quicker when you're comfortable!) but it's a little lower cut than expected. Also, the draping around the hips made me look a little wider, I'm sure someone smaller could definitely pull it off though. Either way, I'm going to keep it for casual summer days. It seems extremely versatile, like I could have dressed it up and worn it in the office but it'll also work over my bikini in the summer.

great color
beautiful color and super soft fabric. dress is more casual than it may look in the photo -- great for everyday and casual out. very lightweight great for dead of summer. velvet is running large lately.
