GREAT!!
I think this dress is exactly as pictured. fit looks great. it IS a bit on the longer side-- I'm 5'9 and put on 4 inch heels and i was still stepping on myself... i think i will just wear a higher pair instead of hemming it. the slit is also nice.

even for skinny girls...
it's a nice silhouette but the fabric choice could be better.. or THINNER.
the dress is A LOT of fabric.
i can't believe Halston Heritage make this basic mistake. (even if you trimmed the dress shorter, the placement of the slit still look awkward)
unless you r tall enough or u r certain no one would wear a long dress where you are going (so it doesn't look so sloppy fitted) or try get another long black dress than this one.

Really sexy slinky dress. Very long (and I'm nearly 6"). Sat well all day/night, didn't need adjusting and received compliments all night. Great dress.

For skinny girls..
This dress is lovely on the model in the picture, but does not translate well to other body types. First of all, the material composing the halter that goes over the chest is completely excessive. I could stretch the fabric for one side over my entire face and head. It can make a girl with curves look large in the chest (I'm a c but looked like a really chesty lady!) also, I thought that the wrap around the waist would be flattering, but the fabric is again, so excessive that it ends up making your waist look thicker! Overall, love the style but you need to be very thin and waifish to pull this off.

Way too long even with heels
5'4 and under need not buy this dress....it's ridiculously long. I was so excited for the Halston Heritage brand but overall I've been really disappointed with the line.
