I thought the color was more pink than red, but it clearly is bright red. The bag is smaller than I wanted and not as versatile as I wanted so I returned it. The tan leather was good quality, soft, while the bottom of the bag was a bright red patent leather stiff box frame- which made it very sturdy. Overall it was too small for me- I need to pack more in with two kids.....

Great Everyday Tote!!
This bag is even better in person than the photo online. The box structure on the bottom allows the tote to stand upright on the ground, without being bulky against your body. I get complements all the time on the striking color combination as well.
