These reworked, authentic Levi's 501 jeans feature grommets and a ribbon belt at the frayed, cutoff waistband. 5-pocket styling and a zip fly. Signature stitching at back pockets. Dirtied spots, shredded holes, and moderate distressing.

Karen Zambos is a Los Angeles based fashion designer with a cutting edge vision. Her motto: comfort is key! Karen's career as a designer started when she began hand dying vintage slips and selling them at Tracy Ross. Her collection evolved to include a wide variety of designs such as customized tees, vintage sports jerseys, and lace and taffeta mini skirts. In the past year she's added a variety of new pieces to her line - knit halter dresses, cozy wraps, and button-down tube tops.

these were huge and unflattering and the look on the model is nothing like the fit on me.

Good in concept
But fail in reality. So I thought these looked comfy and edgy. I ordered a large based on the previous review and having had jeans that were described as baggy but ended up being more "skinny" than "boyfriend". These were swimming on me. They also were not distressed in any way except that yes, the waist/belt line was cut and reworked. Going back. I'm 5'8" and normally sz 27 in jeans.

Large is tight...
Okay, I'm not that skinny and after having a baby recently I'm aware that my hips are not what they used too be:)As I've gained a size from S/M to M/L I ordered a L thinking that they would have a little bit space left so that this pair could be my new 'boyfriend' baggy's...nope, L is tight..or am I larger then an L? I weigh 81 kg, 172 cm and usually wear size 14, L here in NZ..anyways, I'll just have to wear them tight for now and keep shedding that weight...Lovely otherwise, didn't know it was an old pair of Levis Strauss tough? xx
